We obtain funding for Arbor Living to begin second phase of development at retirement village

13th October

We are delighted to announce that we have provided £800k funding to specialist single story living developer, Arbor Living on the second phase of development at its scheme in Lymm, Cheshire.

The scheme – Willowpool is a gated four-acre residential development with an exclusive range of 13 park homes occupying a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Lymm, tailored to suit the over 55’s retirement market.

Arbor Living has already delivered the first phase of eight homes and PMJ are assisting with funding for the second phase of five individual modular properties with unparalleled eco credentials, having agreed a facility of £800k on a peak cashflow basis.

Graham Richardson managing director at Arbor said:

“The team at PMJ quickly understood the Arbor concept and market. They structured a deal which fully met our requirements and most importantly delivered on the transaction both to timescales and with the minimum of fuss.

“We hope that this will be the first of many deals we can work on together.”

David Rainford managing director of PMJ Capital commented:

“Having known Graham for over 15 years, his credentials and experience are undoubted when we discussed this latest project.

“With a proven concept in Arbor, both in the first phase at Lymm and Lakeshore in Lincolnshire, the quality of the proposed scheme was clear to see and PMJ are proud to have been able to support on this second phase of development.”

Graham added:

“The first phase at Willowpool was extremely well received and we have already attracted a great deal of interest in the second phase. We put this down to the scheme’s strong eco credentials, individual design and the ultra-high quality external landscaped areas.”

The second phase of Willowpool will begin construction in early December 2020 and is due for completion in February 2021.
